How to Report

Email: legal@abv.dev You can report anonymously using an anonymous email service (ProtonMail, etc.) or request anonymity in your report. While anonymous reports are accepted, providing contact information helps us ask follow-up questions and keep you updated. Include in your report:
  • What happened, when, where, and who is involved
  • Evidence (emails, screenshots, logs) if available
  • How you became aware of the issue

Confidentiality and Protection

Confidentiality:
  • Reports are restricted to legal/compliance team and relevant investigators
  • Your identity is protected and shared only on a need-to-know basis
  • Reports are stored securely with access logging
Non-Retaliation Policy: ABV has a strict non-retaliation policy. No adverse employment actions will be taken against whistleblowers. If you experience retaliation, report it immediately to legal@abv.dev. Retaliation will result in severe consequences for the retaliator. Good Faith: Protection applies to good-faith reports (genuine concerns, not malicious false accusations), even if they turn out to be unfounded.

External Reporting

You have the right to report concerns to external authorities (data protection authorities, employment commissions, law enforcement, etc.). Reporting externally doesn’t void our non-retaliation policy. Consider external reporting if internal reporting hasn’t resolved the issue, senior leadership is involved, or there’s immediate danger.

For ABV Employees

Employees can access our detailed internal Whistleblowing Policy (internal documentation). You can also report to your manager, HR, or the security team (security@abv.dev) depending on the nature of the concern.
